Craig Barnette is a professional drummer and instructor who currently resides in Jacksonville, FL. A Florida native and graduate of the renowned Jazz Studies program at the University of North Florida, he has performed around the world with a variety artists in many different styles and settings.
Craig has recorded and/or shared the stage with artists such as J.J. Grey and Mofro, Donavon Frankenreiter, Jackson Browne, John Oates (of Hall & Oates), G. Love, Widespread Panic, North Mississippi All-Stars, Sugar Ray, Matt Farr, and Jess Pillmore. He has also performed on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the Jimmy Kimmel Show and Fuel TV's “The Daily Habit”.
He has also done session work for Disney World including recording drums for the fireworks show (“Happily Ever After”) which is presented daily at the Magic Kingdom Orlando and Magic Kingdom Hong Kong.
In addition to his live and studio work, Craig has also been teaching drums & percussion for over 20 years in Jacksonville and is a highly sought after instructor.
Craig endorses Vater drumsticks, Evans drumheads and Protection Racket cases and JH Audio in-ear monitors.
